Meet Captain John

A Lifetime on the Water. A Personal Approach to Every Charter.

Captain John is looking forward to welcoming you aboard.

His Story

A Life on the Water

Captain John's boating story started early.

At age 12, he built his first boat. It might not have been the most impressive vessel he'd ever own, but it started a passion that never really stopped.

By 16 he was operating boats, and boating remained part of his life through his time in the U.S. Coast Guard and the many years that followed.

Today, John holds a U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License and brings that lifetime of comfort on the water to every Agua Blu charter.

But ask him his favorite part of the business and his answer isn't the boat.

It's the meeting the people.

It Should Feel Like an Experience;
Not Just a Boat Ride.

That means your charter is personal from the moment you step aboard.

John isn't the kind of captain who simply takes the wheel and lets the clock run out. He gets everyone comfortable, sets up the water toys, helps with drinks, handles the grill, and adjusts the day around what his guests are enjoying.

Want another swim? Stay awhile.

Want to cruise instead? Let's cruise.

Want lunch grilled while everyone floats? That's part of the experience.

It's that personal attention that keeps guests coming back.

The Agua Blu Difference

The “Yacht-Toon” Experience

One guest described Agua Blu as a “yacht-toon.”

John liked it because it captured exactly what he was trying to create.

The comfort and attention you'd associate with a higher-end private charter—aboard a relaxed 24-foot Barletta that's perfect for enjoying the Florida coast.

No pretense.

No endless list of upgrades.

Just a beautiful boat, thoughtful amenities, personal service and a captain who genuinely wants you to have a great day.

On Board

Safe, Comfortable & Looked After

John's Coast Guard background is part of the foundation of every Agua Blu experience.

The boat carries life jackets and U.S. Coast Guard-required safety equipment on every charter.

Just as importantly, John stays involved throughout the trip so his guests can relax while he keeps an eye on the details.

Whether he's taking out a couple, a family with children, a group of friends or returning guests who simply want another day on the water, the goal remains the same:

Make it easy. Make it personal. Make it memorable.

Come Experience Agua Blu

The best way to understand Agua Blu is to get aboard.
